Salvage car flipping, tracked end to end
Email bycixix@gmail.com and you will get a reply from the person who built the app. If something is wrong, say which car and roughly when it happened — that is usually enough to find it.
Open the car, then Give someone access. They get an iCloud link: no account to make, no password to type. When they tap it the car appears in their Flipside, and they can add their own costs, hours and photos. You keep the car's details, the profit split and the sale.
If a car has not turned up on the other phone, open Settings › Sharing & sync. It says what sync is doing and what it is still waiting on, and it has a button to send everything again. Both phones need to be signed in to iCloud.
Log a cost › Photograph the receipt. The total, the shop and the date are read on your phone — nothing is uploaded. A line under the photo shows what was read so you can check it against the paper. It only fills in fields you have left empty, and if it cannot read a receipt it says so and keeps the photo.
On a car that's for sale, Build sheet for buyers makes a PDF to send to anyone asking what happened to the car: the title history first, the damage as bought, every part and outside repair in the order it was done, your hours, and before, during and after photos. It never shows what you paid, auction fees, your asking price or your profit. Part prices are off unless you turn them on.
One car is free forever, with every feature. Adding a second car needs Pro, which is a subscription billed monthly or yearly through your Apple Account; new subscribers get the first 7 days free, and the trial becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel at least a day before it ends. Watching lots is always free and never counts against the limit.
If Pro ends, nothing is deleted. You pick the one car you keep working on; the others stay readable — you can still look at them, export them, sell them or move them to the trash — until Pro is back. Cars shared with you and sold cars are never affected. On a new phone, tap Restore purchases in Settings. Subscriptions are managed in the Settings app on your iPhone, under your Apple Account, and refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Settings › Export everything as CSV gives you five files — cars, costs, hours, the partner settlement and trips — that open in any spreadsheet. It's in Settings and at the foot of Reports. They are yours outright, and worth taking before any big change.
A deleted car waits 30 days in Settings › Trash before it is gone for good, and comes back with its costs, hours and photos intact. Erase all data is immediate and cannot be undone.
Flipside has no account and no server of ours. Your records stay on your phone and in your own iCloud. The privacy policy says exactly what that means, including the only two sites the app ever contacts.
